Vegas, Baby! Ten Restaurants To Try In the City of Lights

Everything is a little more exciting in Vegas, including the plant-based food scene. Here are of few of my favorite hits.

  • VegeNation

  • Violette's Vegan Organic Cafe & Juice Bar

  • Simply Pure

  • Go Vegan

One of Las Vegas's oldest vegan restaurants, Go Vegan Cafe, has become an institution. This restaurant is perfect for people who want raw options (they have tons) or are gluten-free. Its massive breakfast platters are also not to be missed.

  • The Modern Vegan

Don't let the menu overwhelm you – come here with an idea of what you're craving; otherwise, it will take forever to go through their menu, which offers more than 100 items. Definitely order the jalapeño corn dogs and save room for their deep-fried PBJ. Bonus: They’re open until 5 a.m. on weekends.

  • Chef Kenny's Asian Vegan Restaurant

Chef Kenny Chye is a Las Vegas treasure, thanks to his veganizing staple Asian dishes to the point where you can bring your omni friends, and they won't know they're eating vegan. His sushi is a must, and so is his orange chicken.

  • Vege-Way

Another spot from Chye, Vege-Way was Las Vegas's first vegan fast food and drive-thru. Come here if you want epic vegan burgers and tasty food on the run.

  • Bar Boulevard

Las Vegas finally has an all-vegan restaurant and bar, thanks to the opening of Bar Boulevard. While this spot's focus skews toward veganized omni dishes (omg, those onion rings), they also make a wicked raw pad thai.

  • Tacotarian

If you're craving tacos, head to Tacotarian, a plant-based taco shop. Here, you'll find 15 vegan tacos to choose from, plus creative Mexican foods like Taki-encrusted elote and Frito pie.

  • Blinders Burgers & Brunch

The burgers, like their Shakein Bae-con (herbivorous hardwood smoked ‘bacon’ with dairy-free cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo), are offered in your choice veggie patty options. Plus, their weekend brunch is a must.
