Healthy Hazelnut Spread

2 cups hazelnuts

1 cup almonds

¹⁄³ cup maple syrup

¹⁄³ cup melted cacao butter

4 tbsp pure cacao powder

½ cup plant-based milk (I like almond or oat!)

A pinch of salt


• Preheat the oven to 350°F and roast the nuts for 10-15 minutes until fragrant. Let cool slightly and rub them in a towel until the skin comes off as much as possible. This will make your nut spread smoother!

• Transfer the nuts to a high-speed blender or food processor and pulse until you’re left with a smooth nut butter. (This might take a while and you might have to stop in between to scrape down the sides, but it’s so worth it!)

• Add the remaining ingredients and blend again. Scoop into an airtight container and enjoy!
